    Good question. I just checked the NYC transit trip planner and it looks like the Pod commute might be shorter. It is 15 minutes from the university. The commute from The Jane is about 30. and you only have to catch one train from both) So they are both reasonable commutes.

    @kara , you may want to weigh since ur local. maybe you know a shorter route from one or both locations?
