Thanks ! I only have ipad 1, does a classic jack-peritel wire work for the video output (with Brushes) or have I to buy a special Apple one?

I just downloaded the submission form, movies or animated sequences are accepted as long as they fit the title and the theme of the show.

Yes, submitting I-device-made videos would be fine !
Perhaps not a painting slideshow though, but I’m with David.

Animation creator for ipad: a fantastic app!
It allows to make animations frame by frame, in a very instictive way. And it only cost 1.50… A must try!

”Blub Blup” is my first serious creation on it: you can check it out here! http://cedricphilippe.blogspot.com

    Hi again mates,
I wondered, once uploaded a sketch on the Brushes top layer, how to paint BEHIND it ? (colorizing for example, without affecting the sketch over.) I remember that Luis already shared some tricks about it on Flickr, but I can’t get my hands on it.

Oh wait, I finally found Luis’ tutorial. His method seems great for iPhone users, it only requires the full DXP version (only 1,59€ on the Appstore). So here it is :
      1) Load your sketch in Brushes
      2) Add a new layer, choose a background color and lower the opacity to see the sketch below. Then add some colors.
      3) Save ONLY the colored layer to the camera roll.
      4) Open DXP, load first the colored layer and then the whole picture.
      5) Choose ”hard light” as blending mode, and it’s done! Now you can reload it on Brushes and paint on!

For those who own an iPad, no need to proceed like this. Once your sketch uploaded in Brushes, just create a new transparent layer behind and blend it with ”multiply”. That’s all ! It perfectly works ;)

      Hope it’ll help someone !

Thanks for remembering me Cédric ;)
DO you know ArtStudio already has blending modes in the iPhone too!!! (woohoo! )…even more than some other apps on iPad :P
As I imagine your answer…yes, this app is a bit tricky for me too :D
