Our friends at  iPhoneArt.com (IPA) have launched their 2nd annual mobile art contest where one very talented artist will be awarded a coveted $1000 (along with that warm and fuzzy feeling you get from knowing your art inspires and moves people when they experience it. :-)   But that’s not it–runners up will have their work included in a Los Angeles based exhibition and an IPA published book on the “best mobile art of 2011″.

Here’s a little excerpt about the contest along with the award:

About 2011 IPA MOBILE ART GRANT

Each day the boundaries of mobile art are pushed, expanded and explored. The creativity, intelligence and spirit of IPA have brought us together: it goes without saying the competition will be steep. So take this opportunity to challenge one another. Push harder. Discover more. Watching this community grow has been a daily inspiration – so it is an honor to start giving back. The 2011 IPA Mobile Art Grant will award $1000 to the artist with the best work. A spot in our Los Angeles 2012 exhibition and inclusion in a book of the best work of 2011 will also be awarded. IPA is a place to show your very best work. And now is the time to show it.

Deadline is December 31st–so be sure to submit your winning art NOW.  For more details–visit the IPA Website.  Or check the links below:
